Emily is a life-long yogini, registered and credentialed to teach yoga to adults, children, and families. Her favorite method is vinyasa yoga, and she gravitates toward yin, kundalini, and infusing spirituality, qi gong, art, music, and healing energy into her teaching and personal practice as well. Emily appreciates both a fast-paced practice to burn stress and stuck energy, as well as a very slow, quiet, loving practice–whatever suits the situation, moment, or body’s needs.
Emily is so excited to partner with Yoga 4 Philly. Whether through her current teacher training in offering accessible yoga, designing accessible Sanskrit studies for students around the world, teaching yoga online, or advocating for progressive change in the Western yoga community through public speaking, Emily believes in accessibility and loves this mission. She loves to actively learn and grow.
