Our Founder

January 2015, while in a dark troubled place mentally, Steven felt the need to “do something different”. After listening to Russell Simmons discuss the need for everyone to practice yoga and meditation and to embrace a vegan lifestyle, Steven said, “ok – let me try this.” From following Yoga with Adriene youtube yoga practices to actively being a part of the Sync Yoga and Wellness family in Dallas, Steven found a vehicle in Yoga & Meditation that brought him into the light.

Steven’s journey has given him an idea as to why he exists in the world: “to be liberated and to liberate for a better social world.”

Currently, he is fleshing out his purpose through his work in the world:

Steven is the successful owner and CEO for Brice Enterprise LLC, a hub for various businesses and investments, such as Delight Consulting Services; and Hii Brand LLC, a cannabis company in California.

In addition to his work with Yoga 4 The World and its Yoga 4 Philly chapter, Steven is the Operations Coordinator for the Philadelphia Community Bail Fund, an organization working to put an end to the cash bail system and pretrial detention.
Steven is a public speaker and preacher, teaching and presenting in areas such as race relations, entrepreneurship, and theology. He is an adjunct instructor at Abilene Christian University teaching undergrad Bible, Ministry/Missional courses.

Whenever there is an opportunity, he proudly shares with people the need to practice yoga and meditation. With a strong academic background in spirituality/theology and counseling, coupled with his experience as an entrepreneur, pastor, and community liaison, Steven is excited about the endless possibilities of making yoga accessible to every individual in Philadelphia.

He received his Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) 200 certification from Dhyana Yoga, an Ashtanga Vinyasa Studio under the teachings of John and Diana Vitarelli. He also received a Trauma-informed Yoga Teacher Training certificate and a Yoga for Parkinson’s Disease certificate.
